3-K Application is NOW OPEN
 

To all families with children born in 2018

 

There are two types of 3-K programs:
 

  • 3-K for All - Families citywide can apply to 3-K for All program (hours of care are 8 am to 2:30 pm)
     

  • 3-K Extended Day/Year - Extended hours are available to families who qualify based on income and needs. Our program is free or low cost and offer year-round care for up to 10 hours a day.

    • To apply for Extended day, parents must contact the childcare center to submit the application.​

Documents Required for Extended Day Eligibility

  • Child's Birth Certificate & Birth Certificates of all siblings under 17 year of age.

  • Parent's New York State ID

  • Proof of Residence

  • Proof of Income:

    • Twelve (12) consecutive â€‹pay stubs if paid weekly, OR

    • Six (6) consecutive pay stubs if paid bi-weekly, OR

    • Employment form filled out by employer if paid cash

    • Proof of Vocational training, OR

    • Proof of registration with the New York State Employment Services.

  • Child care application ​

    • Application will be filled and submitted by the center
